Hello, I would like to ask about the difference between the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed and the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed PlayStation Edition.

I mainly use PC, not PS5.
The reason I’m asking about the PlayStation version is because there is currently a good deal for it at my local MediaMarkt store.

Will the PlayStation version work fully and without any issues on PC?

Also, is there any sound quality difference between the standard version and the PlayStation version when used on PC?

For example:

  • positional audio,

  • footsteps in FPS games,

  • bass,

  • overall sound tuning.

Is the only difference the PlayStation license/branding, or are there hardware or audio tuning differences as well?

Also, some users experienced hinge/cracking issues with the BlackShark V2 series.
Has the hinge or overall build durability been improved on the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed models?

For reference, I previously used the Razer Barracuda X and later the Razer Barracuda. I’m also currently using the Razer Ornata V3 keyboard and the Razer Basilisk V3 mouse. I actually bought the Basilisk V3 twice, and my cousin uses one too. Overall, I’ve been very satisfied with Razer products so far.
