While playing any game basically, the audio will go choppy, then silent, then I’ll get two beeps, and about a minute later it will reconnect and be good for about 5 minutes before happening again.

I’ve tried all my usb ports, updating firmware, uninstalling re-installing Synapse, turning off the THX surround sound, uninstalling and re-installing drivers, and I’m at a loss on what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi OceanBluexpoly181,

I’m here to help. I understand that your Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed is experiencing choppy audio and disconnection issues. To better assist you, I have a few questions:

  • Have there been any recent changes to your system, such as new software installations or updates, around the time the issue started?
  • Are there any potential sources of interference in your environment, such as other wireless
  • Does the issue occur in both wireless and wired modes, or is it specific to one?
  • Have you noticed the problem with a specific game or all applications?
  • If using Bluetooth, does switching to the USB Type C dongle improve the connection?

Please try downloading and running the headset’s Pairing Utility, and check if the issue persists on a different PC. If you need additional assistance, PM me your headset's serial number so I can verify the model. All the best!
