whenever i connect the dongle it flashes a green light then attempts to connect, sometimes reconnecting the cable works and then sometimes it doesnt, looking for help on this issue

in device manager the dongle gives a device descriptor request failed error 43, not sure what to do

Are you using a USB hub? Try plugging it directly into your PC’s motherboard. If the same issue persists, then send me a PM along with the serial number of your Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed so I can validate it and look for other troubleshooting steps that we can attempt.
