Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed – Synapse 4 audio & mic settings not applying on Windows 11

Hello,

Today I purchased a Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed and set it up on Windows 11. Synapse 4 detects the headset correctly, but none of the audio or microphone settings I change in Synapse are actually applied to the device.

What happens:

  • Changing the EQ does not change the sound.

  • Bass boost / enhancements have no effect.

  • Mic tab settings (mic monitoring / sidetone, noise reduction, etc.) also do not take effect.

So the headset is visible in Synapse, but configuration changes are not being pushed to the device.

Current setup:

  • Default Windows output device: Razer BlackShark V2 HS 2.4

  • OS: Windows 11

  • All Razer services in msconfig → Services are enabled and running.

  • Drivers are up to date.

  • Manual pairing between dongle and headset was tested and works.

  • Sound enhancements / Audio enhancements in Windows are set to “Device default effects.”

  • I reinstalled all Razer software and drivers from scratch.

  • I also tried installing Synapse 3 to check if the issue was version-specific, but the behavior was the same.

How can I fix it?

Thank you.
