Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed Wireless – Power button not powering on

Hello,

 

I was using my Razer BlackShark v2 HyperSpeed headset this morning and suddenly it stopped working via the wireless mode.

 

The power button only works as play/pause when I use the cable, but it never powers the headset on.

Here is what I have already tried:

  • Hard reset (holding the power button 10–18 sec while connected with USB-C).

  • Firmware update through Synapse following the official Razer instructions.

The issue persists. Additional details:

  • After performing a hard reset, when I release the button the headset says “Power off.” Windows does not recognize the device at that point.

  • If I press the button again, it continues to say “Power off” every time. The only way to make Windows recognize the headset again is to disconnect and reconnect the USB-C cable.

  • Before updating the firmware on Synapse, the battery status was always stuck at 41% and never changed (from the moment the problem first appeared).

Seems the same issue karfakias had on

Issue still persists, now I also lost audio while playing a video, they weren’t drop recently either, simply stop working mid use just like it happened with the wireless mode and the power on button.

Also using the on/off button as play/pause still works as well.

I am having the exact same issue, please can someone help? I also cant find my serial and I think I am still in warranty.

I’m, still in warranty but for now what I’ve ended up buying a new one, in this case the Blackshark V2 Pro, but I’d like to have a solution also, it would be great to have them working again to have additional headphones just in case
