Razer Blackshark v2 Pro audio playback issue | Razer Insider

I’ve recently experienced an issue with my Blackshark v2 Pro headset with audio playback. When playing any audio (for example, youtube video, netflix, etc) from my PC, and I press the mute/unmute button on the headset. While the audio is playing and I hit the button to either mute or unmute, I get a strange hitch in the audio. It is quiet, but it almost seems to change the audio EQ settings between when the physical mute button is toggled on and off. Another interesting thing is I don’t have to completely press the button down to create this weird audio hitch. I can just slightly press it down and I get the same effect. This issue seems to simply happen after the headset has been on for a few minutes, and it seems to be fixed by power cycling my headset.

I initially tried to just update the headset to see if that would fix the issue, but had no luck. Both the headset and dongle are fully updated and I have the same issue.

I am running Windows 11 Pro (22631.3737).

I’m sure there is some information I’ve forgotten, so please let me know if there is anything else you need.

Update: I have tried changing the EQ settings, and tried going from stereo to THX Spatial audio from the Razer synapse settings. I also have sound normalization enabled, bass boost disabled, voice clarity disabled. All of these settings I’ve tried enabling/disabling, with the issue remaining.
