So I brought Razer BlackShark V2 Pro wireless headphone 9 months ago and I was using carefully. But all of sudden left hinge broke off when I took of from my head. I tried to contact the amazon about warranty but they suggested reaching out to RAZER itself. Please get it replaced, fixed, or refunded. It’s unfair that I brought such expensive headset to see easily getting broken.

I even couldn’t find email for razer customer service...

I had the same thing happen a few months ago, Razer replaced it. But now it just broke in the exact same place and they aren’t replacing it again. Sadly it’s just weak brittle plastic.

Give Support a try,  Register it first then go:

Official Razer Support    Then:

I just used the Chat which is just a bot, but then somebody will email you, ask a few questions and hopefully they’ll replace it! Good luck :)

I have created a stronger hinge replacement since it happened to mine as well. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1799496988/razer-blackshark-v2-pro-hinge-upgrade

just had the same thing happen to me after 7 months. Except the plastic broke and split into multiple pieces, the earcup is loose.

I see a ton of people complaining about this exact issue, and Razer seems to honor the warranty (as they should) with some customers, but denying a replacement for a lot of others too. I hope they realize by now that this is such a common problem that it is just a flawed design that came from the manufacturer. AKA a factory defect...

UPDATE:

Retailer returned the headset unrepaired as “the manufacturer claimed the costs would exceed 100 euros”

Okay, weird since it’s just 4 pieces of plastic and 2 screws.

I contacted Razer through live chat that same day, support rep immediately started and approved a warranty claim for me after confirming I tried RMAing through my retailer.

2 days later I received my brand new unit all the way from Hong Kong, good service! But it could be even better. I wasted over 2 hours of my time and quite a bit of fuel driving to and from the retailer just for it to return untouched.

I ended up fixing the broken pair with a replacement hinge, so now I have two headsets lol
