I just bought a pair of Razer Blackshark Pro V2 (2023) and the sound is AWFUL! I don’t know what’s wrong, but it seems like nothing is working. I’m only using the headphones for playing PubG, but the sound is so bad I might as well use 10 $ headphones instead. It sounds like I’m in a jar, with shots far away sounding like they’re 4 feet away, and shots near sounds far away. No spatial effects at all. Impossible to use. What is wrong?

I eventually bought new headphones. MUCH better! (Steelseries Arctic Nova Pro)
completely agreed, these are terrible. On a side note, my product’s left side has more sound than the right one and the only way to adjust the balance is to use a 3rd party program called peace. But the sound quality is still awful. I should have stayed with Steelseries instead of this.
I completely agree with you. The headphones sound as if they put you in a jar and the sounds are coming from outside. But since I got these as a gift and have no other replacement, the thing that helped me the most was uninstalling razer cortex and all related software. The headphones now sound much better.
