Razer blackshark v2 pro not detected in synapse 3/4

I bought the v2 pro from a retailer (noon) and i tried everything (repair/uninstall/modify) i sent a ticket to the support but i wanted to open a discussion since i found more phishy details. First of all the output device name was USB1.0 not Razer blackshark v2 pro as listed in the manual. The box was damaged a lil bit but it was sealed and looks like the seal wasn’t opened before. The sound is really flat and lacks details, I dont if thats the v2 pro sound or just mine.

also in mic tests in yt i found the mic to be really clear unlike what i got which sound muffled.

Sorry for the long details but am really desperate for help.

 

Edit: Forgot to mention that I registered the product using the serial number and product number and I didn’t have any issues with that. Also what is Razer warranty policy for a situation like this. Thanks in advance!

Try clean reinstall Synapse if you haven’t tried it yet. Also post a screenshot from windows device manager how it looks like (how the headset is visible there, it’ll be also good if you’ll post the PID_VID combination for headset/dongle).

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Here is the PID_VID combination: 

USB\VID_3654&PID_4255&MI_00\6&1F3C188D&0&0000

And i did the steps and still didn’t work.

This doesn’t look like a genuine Blackshark V2 Pro. More like a cheap china fake.

Also VendorID is NOT Razer. Razer VID = 1532. 

Do you have more photos of this (like photo of both earcups from outside, headband, box, microphone - is it detachable?) - you can post here or send me via PM (link to imgur for eg). Also send me an info where did you’ve get this.

I posted here since imgur is tweaking. I bought it from (Noon Saudi Arabia) it was last piece on a huge sale I thought it was a bargain and forgot to check the seller or even his rating the problem is I can’t go back there to refund it. Also what is razer policy for staff like this? cause am stuck with it for now.
