Razer Blackshark V2 Pro Random Disconnect Issue: FIXED | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I don’t know if this fix will work for everyone, but it’s worked for me the last 2 days.  Like you, I had the issue in which every so often, my headset would disconnect randomly and beep twice before reconnecting.  This was happening within my first few days of owning the headset.  After some digging, there are some power management settings that could be switching off USB Devices to save power.  So enough background, here’s the steps I took.

First, I checked to see if there were any power settings in my Bluetooth Devices, I switched off every device that had “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

After that, I then went into the HID Interface Devices to turn on all USB input devices.

Finally, I checked Universal Serial Bus Controllers and I disabled the Allow Computer to turn off device on all of them.

Since I did this, I haven’t had my headset disconnect randomly a single time.  If that changes, I’ll update here but I feel like I’ve fixed this problem for me.  I hope it works for you all!

Well, unfortunately while the disconnects are fewer and farther between, they’re still happening.  I guess this doesn’t eliminate the problem.  @Razer Admin has there been any resolution on this?

Im having the exact same issue. I’ve tried every step here as well as the razer support guide

Yeah, I attempted to have the Windows Event Viewer open to trace the event when the headset disconnects and I can’t find the event data.  We need resolution for this as this headset was expensive and should NOT be having this problem.
