Razer BlackShark v2 x 7.1 surround still Stereo and now windows system sounds play on 7.1 surround

Hi All 

I am at a loss at this point. When I put my headset on the 7.1 setting it still sounds like stereo audio 
I have already switched it to the cd quality and the issue still persists 
aswell as If i am on the 7.1 settingm All other audio plays fine. Like games. discord. Browsers etc 
however my windows system audios for like errors or notifications or stuff like that are completley muted 

anyone have any advice ?

Hi Vitrixe,

 

I understand you're experiencing problems with the 7.1 surround sound on your BlackShark V2 X and that Windows system sounds are also affected. Could you please try uninstalling all Razer software from your system? After doing so, please check if the issue persists. If the issue persists after uninstalling the Razer software, please send me a PM along with the serial number of your headset. This will allow me to look into the details on my end and explore potential solutions for you.
