So I recently purchased a Razer BlackShark V2 X headset and I connected it to my Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-571 laptop. The sound works fine but the mic doesn't work. I'm sure this isn't a problem with the headset because when I connect it to my Mac, the mic and audio work perfectly. I'm wondering how I can connect my mic to my laptop. I've gone to control panel>sound>manage audio devices>recording tab and I don't see the mic for the headset. I've turned on the option to show disabled devices and it simply isn't there. I'm confused as to why this is happening on my laptop, but not my Mac.

    I have the same problem. The Razer Blackshark V2 X is connected to my Acer Nitro 5 AN517-52-70VU laptop and it just doesn't show as a mic. There are no problems with the sound. I only have one 3,5 mm jack entrance and that is how i connected the headset. I have tried to find the mic. in the setting to turn it on, but it just doesn't show.

    @Noobsxmaker @Epication_NL You will want to update if not reinstall the audio drivers of your laptop. This is a common compatibility issue on Windows 10 where Realtek's Audio Manager isn't detecting mics, or the audio utility in question won't launch.
