I've tried all the settings, all the rear and front jacks, and every possible method I could think of, but when I test it myself, I realize that things I should only be hearing through the headphones, like what I watch on YouTube or do on the desktop, are being picked up by the microphone as if I'm speaking into it. I think I'm going to try returning it, or please offer a solution to this problem because I'm about to lose my mind.

Just for isolation, can you connect the headset to another computer to see if the issue continues? If it does, please send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and check for applicable workarounds that might address the audio issue you're currently experiencing.
