Razer Blackshark v2 x mic is very faint and has static buzzing noise in background.

I got this headset today and i have been trying to test the mic for a while now but it keeps playing back a static buzzing sound and barely my voice. I am using the splitter it came with and i’ve even tried plugging it into the front io but same thing still. I have tried increasing microphone levels in settings but no change. Someone please help
