I bought my son this headset for Xmas, to use on his Xbox. It was working great for a few days but now you have to shout to get the mic to register a sound.
Apparently it sounds like he is under water when it does work but you have to shout to be heard.
I’ve searched all over the place and lots of advice on PCs but nothing on this issue on Xbox.
I thought I would ask here first to see if there is a fix or setting or something before I return it.
Hey man sorry to hear that. The exact thing happend to me with the blackshark v2 while i was playing fortnite then it wouldnt work all of the sudden. I tried everything on the internet to fix it so i would start there and search up how to fix the problem, but if that doesnt work then try using your warranty, if that doesnt work what i did was buy a new one when it went on sale.
Thanks. I tried googling but only found help for PCs not Xbox. That’s why I’m trying here.
the mic might have also came dusty on the inside or the the port you are the plugging it into might also be dirty and might just need some cleaning out
