Razer Blackshark V2 X Microphone not working

Hi, I have the Razer Blackshark V2 X. It seems to work perfectly fine on my ipad, however on the laptop, the microphone does not work. It doesn't show up unless it is forced all the way into the jack, and even when it is, all it picks up is very loud fuzzing. Even if I try to increase or decrease the volume or boost, it just makes the fuzzing louder or quieter, but no other audio picks up. I did try updating the sound drivers, but they were apparently already updated, so I'm not sure what is the issue. I was going to send in a support ticket but I cannot get the ear cushion off to get the serial number.
