Razer Blackshark v2 X microphone not working/not picking up voice

Question

I recently bought a Razer Blackshark V2 X plugged it in to my pc and found out the mic wasnt picking up anything,tried it on my mobilephone and it worked fine,tried it on xbox one and it doesnt pick up my voice..starting to run out of ideas on how to make it work or if i have a setting wrong,any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

HiSentinelST420,I understand that yourRazer BlackShark V2 X headset microphone works on phone but not on your PC or Xbox One.Does it also persist across different applications? Can your headset still produce a sound when you play something? Does your microphone work when plugged into a mobile device? Please try to perform the steps in thisarticleto resolve the issue. If the problem persists, PMme your device serial number and proof of purchase so I can check for replacement options. All the best!Make sure your apps can access the mic.Ensure your headset is set as the default recording device.Set Windows microphone level and microphone boost to values that works well for your setup.Note:Higher levels can cause mic to be more sensitive.If closing Razer 7.1 Surround Sound. Restart your PC then test your headset.Check if the issue persists with a different PC.If the same problem persists, pleasePMme the headset serial number so I can check for other workarrounds.
