Razer Blackshark V2 X - Synapse

Hello Razer Support Team,

I am writing to you because I am unable to connect my Razer Blackshark V2 X headset to Razer Synapse. I have tried reinstalling both Synapse and my audio drivers, but the headset is still not detected by the software.

I have found conflicting information online. Some sources suggest that the Blackshark V2 X should be compatible with Synapse, while I have also seen information on the Razer support pages that indicates it may not be.

Could you please clarify whether the Razer Blackshark V2 X is supposed to be compatible with Razer Synapse? If not, is there any other Razer software, like the 7.1 Surround Sound software, that I can use to configure my headset?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand your concern regarding the connectivity of your Razer Blackshark V2 X headset with Razer Synapse. Unfortunately, the Blackshark V2 X model is not supported in Razer Synapse. You can visit this article for your furture reference. 

However, as an alternative, you can purchase and install the THX Spatial Audio standalone software. Check the THX Spatial Audio page to upgrade from 7.1 Surround Sound.
