Subject: Razer BlackShark V2X Microphone Issue

Dear Razer Support Team,

I recently purchased the Razer BlackShark V2X headset and am experiencing an issue with the microphone. The microphone is picking up system sounds and other audio (such as game or media sounds) and transmitting them through Discord and other applications. This is proving to be quite disruptive during voice communication.

Are there any solutions or guides you can recommend to resolve this issue? I believe I may need to adjust settings either on the headset or within software, but I would appreciate guidance on the correct steps to take.

Hey ​@the_mask__,

Can you reinstall the audio drivers by following the steps below and check if the issue continues? Please also send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and check for applicable workarounds that might address the mic issue you're currently experiencing.

  1. Press Windows key + S on the keyboard to open the Search bar.

  2. Type in "Device Manager" and hit enter.

  3. Expand "Audio inputs and outputs".

  4. Right-click on "Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)".

  5. Select "Uninstall device”
