razer blackshark v3 x hyperspeed for xbox

Hi. I purchased a seemingly unused Razer Blackshark V3 X Hyperspeed secondhand today. When I got home with my headset I attempted to charge it up, and when plugged into multiple different usb-c cables and power sources, the charge indicator light never turned on. I have also attempted to use the Razer firmware updater, but only the dongle was recognized, even though both the dongle and headset were plugged into the laptop. I am not sure if this is a software, hardware, or other issue, but help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
