Razer Blackwidow Chroma Tournament Edition RZ03-01430100-R3U1 key spamming issue

Hello! I am really hoping someone from Razer can reach out to me.

I have a Razer Blackwidow Chroma Tournament Edition from 2018. I tried plugging it in today and it has a crazy key spamming issue. I cannot for the life of me find the firmware for it. I have Razer Synapse 2.0(the old legacy one) and it wasn’t picking it up.

I go to update it and wow! I see that it there’s an update and I SWEAR it said a bug fix for key spamming issue for Blackwidow chroma. It installs, I restart the program and it now shows in my Synapse. I’m like wow this is it! But no, the spam issue still persists. Not sure if there is anything else I have to do.

Any advice?

Hi there, @leetCeladonGreenCORAL151!

As per checking, there’s no firmware update available for your keyboard. You can try to reinstall its drivers by following the steps below:

1. Press Windows + S on your device to open the Search bar.
2. Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.
3. Go to "Keyboards" or "Human Interface Device".
4. Right-click on the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma and select Uninstall device.
5. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a PM along with your device’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other workarounds.
