I just got this keyboard from my friend and I'm wondering if there is anyway to change the color of the lights it changing distracts me to much while I'm trying to use it

Yes, you can change or customize the lighting on your Razer BlackWidow Elite if it is a Chroma-enabled Razer device by using Razer Synapse. Once the keyboard is detected in Synapse, you can go to the Lighting section to select a static color, lower the brightness, or turn the lighting off if the changing effects are too distracting while you use it.
