Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed anf PS5

I need some help and advice please?

i have just got the Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed with the intention of using it on my PS5, not even to game with but to use it for text chat etc.

I installed the dongle on my laptop and already had razer synapse there but it asked me to install Synapse 4, which i did.  Once everything was done, the keyboard works perfectly with my laptop but when i tried using the dongle on my PS5, it was detected as a usb Keyboard but nothing on the keyboard would work.

I then tried using the keyboard via Bluetooth and whilst it was also detected, when i tried to connect it via the PS5 it refused and said it was not compatible with this device.

Is there something else i can try that i have not already or have i bought a bit of a lemon?

I should also add that I have a much smaller Microsoft Wedge keyboard that works perfectly via bluetooth

I have read on another thread here that there is some success if using the wireless version of the basilisk mouse by using the dongle for it and adding the Blackwidow v3 mini to it instead of the one that comes with it. 
 

ironically I have the basilisk for my pc upstairs but it is the wired version and I have no desire to buy a whole new wireless mouse just for the dongle which may or may not work for me, especially as I have no need for the mouse, is that the only option for getting the Blackwidow v3 mini to work with the PS5?
