Hi Razer Support Team,

I am reaching out to request assistance with my Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed keyboard. The device has become completely unresponsive (bricked) following a firmware update via Razer Synapse.

Here is the exact timeline of what happened and the troubleshooting steps I have already taken:

  1. The Issue: The keyboard completely ran out of battery. I plugged it into my laptop via the original USB-C cable to charge it.
  2. The Update: While connected, Razer Synapse prompted an update for both the software and the keyboard. I proceeded with the update.
  3. The Malfunction: Right after the update finished, the keyboard completely turned off. All background LEDs went out, and the device stopped responding entirely.

Troubleshooting steps already attempted:

  • I tried changing the side switch to all positions (2.4GHz, Wired/Off, Bluetooth) while connected to the laptop, but there was no response.
  • I left the keyboard plugged into a standard 5V wall charger for over an hour to ensure the battery wasn't just critically low. No charging indicator LED showed up.
  • I attempted the recovery/demo mode reset by holding down ESC + Caps Lock + Spacebar while plugging in the USB-C cable.
  • I also tried the alternative hardware reset shortcut (Left CTRL + ESC) while plugging it in.
  • I completely uninstalled Razer Synapse and used the official Razer Driver Clean-up Tool to wipe any corrupted files, then restarted my laptop.
  • Note: I currently do not have the original 2.4GHz wireless dongle available, so all tests were performed strictly via the USB-C cable.

Despite all these efforts, the keyboard remains completely dead with no LED activity, and the laptop does not even play the Windows USB connection sound when I plug it in. It seems the firmware chip was corrupted during the Synapse update process.

Could you please advise if there is an advanced tool or a specific bootloader firmware update to force-flash the device and revive it?
