First off, I’d like to start by saying I’m aware this an issue many people have been having, but I haven’t found any definitive answers to the problem.
I bought the Blackwidow Mini back in 2022, and loved it! However, I didn’t use it for some time, as I moved house and my PC was unable to be set up for a while. The keyboard itself was stored appropriately (I am very particular about keeping boxes and making sure they are in immaculate condition), inside the original plastic wrap and box. Unfortunately, when I recently set it up again and turned it on, one single key (I cannot remember which, but it’s either y or u, if that makes any difference), does not display any RGB colours that use the red light range of the colour spectrum. I have tried cleaning the switch and updating firmware/reinstalling synapse, with no result.
As well as this, there is also an issue in which keys respond 2-3 times upon a single keystroke, making typing very difficult and timely, as I have to keep stopping to delete duplicate letters.
My question is, is this a hardware issue, or a software issue, and if the latter, is there going to be any fix for this, as I do really love the keyboard (looks amazing, feels incredible, sounds top tier), and would really love to get it back in use again (currently using the Gears 5 Huntsman, which is a fantastic keyboard but the clicky keys, whilst not bad keys, can get overwhelming on a sensory level with audio sensitive ADHD)?
