Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone in the community can help with a frustrating Bluetooth issue on my BlackWidow V3 Pro. The keyboard has suddenly developed a problem where it can no longer maintain a Bluetooth connection.
The Problem
The keyboard enters a "pairing loop" and won't finalize the connection. Here is the exact sequence of events:
-
I press Fn+1 (or 2/3) to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light above the arrow keys blinks, as expected.
-
My laptop, PC, or tablet sees the keyboard.
-
I click "Pair" on my device, and the device reports that it is "Connected" to the BlackWidow V3 Pro.
-
However, the keyboard itself keeps blinking as if it's still searching for a connection.
-
The keyboard works for about 2-3 minutes while it's blinking.
-
After this time, the blinking stops, and the keyboard immediately disconnects from my device.
What I've Already Tried
-
Updated Firmware: The keyboard is on the latest firmware.
-
Factory Reset: I've performed the "Esc + Caps Lock + Spacebar" hard reset while plugging in the cable.
-
Multiple Devices: This issue happens on my laptop, PC, and tablet, so the problem seems to be with the keyboard itself.
This is a major issue for my workflow, as I used to connect one PC with the 2.4Ghz dongle and my laptop with Bluetooth. Now I have to manually plug and unplug the keyboard every time I switch.
I'm out of the warranty period, so official customer service isn't an option.
Has anyone else experienced this exact "fake connection" loop and found a permanent solution?
Thanks in advance for any help.
