Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone in the community can help with a frustrating Bluetooth issue on my BlackWidow V3 Pro. The keyboard has suddenly developed a problem where it can no longer maintain a Bluetooth connection.

The Problem

The keyboard enters a "pairing loop" and won't finalize the connection. Here is the exact sequence of events:

  1. I press Fn+1 (or 2/3) to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light above the arrow keys blinks, as expected.

  2. My laptop, PC, or tablet sees the keyboard.

  3. I click "Pair" on my device, and the device reports that it is "Connected" to the BlackWidow V3 Pro.

  4. However, the keyboard itself keeps blinking as if it's still searching for a connection.

  5. The keyboard works for about 2-3 minutes while it's blinking.

  6. After this time, the blinking stops, and the keyboard immediately disconnects from my device.

What I've Already Tried

  • Updated Firmware: The keyboard is on the latest firmware.

  • Factory Reset: I've performed the "Esc + Caps Lock + Spacebar" hard reset while plugging in the cable.

  • Multiple Devices: This issue happens on my laptop, PC, and tablet, so the problem seems to be with the keyboard itself.

This is a major issue for my workflow, as I used to connect one PC with the 2.4Ghz dongle and my laptop with Bluetooth. Now I have to manually plug and unplug the keyboard every time I switch.

I'm out of the warranty period, so official customer service isn't an option.

Has anyone else experienced this exact "fake connection" loop and found a permanent solution?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there, @fantasticO0o!

Thank you for the detailed info. We’re leaning toward a hardware fault right here. When and where specifically did you purchase it? Let me know via PM along with your keyboard’s serial number so I can validate it in our system and check the warranty status. Looking forward to your response!
