Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile Hyperspeed - dongle issue

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile not working via the USB dongle.

The keyboard doesn’t respond at all when connected through the dongle. In contrast, it works fine when connected via USB cable (if applicable – adjust if needed).

I’ve already tried a number of troubleshooting steps, but nothing has helped so far:

  • Reinstalled Razer Synapse completely
  • Re-paired the keyboard with the dongle
  • Restarted my computer multiple times
  • Made sure all drivers and software are up to date
  • Tried different USB ports (including USB 2.0 and ports on the back of the PC)
  • Checked for interference and kept the dongle close to the keyboard
  • Verified the battery level is sufficient
  • Tested the keyboard on multiple computers — same issue everywhere

At this point, I’m starting to suspect that the dongle might be faulty.

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried. Since the keyboard works through other connection methods but not through the USB dongle, and the issue persists across multiple computers, it’s possible that the dongle faulty. For warranty options, please send me a PM with your device serial number, region and a clear copy of the store invoice. Kindly upload the invoice to Google Drive and set the file access to Public or Anyone Who Has The Link so I can review it and verify the information in our system. Thank you!
