Dear Razer Support Team,
I am writing to seek your assistance with a warranty issue regarding my Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard.
Purchase Details:
- Product: Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro
- Purchase Date: March 2024
- Retailer: ComputerLand (computerland.rs), Belgrade, Serbia
- Warranty Period: 2 years
Issue Description: After slightly over one year of use, the spacebar has begun malfunctioning. The key behaves inconsistently: sometimes it fails to register at all, and other times it registers twice instead of once. This makes typing extremely frustrating and significantly impacts the usability of an otherwise premium keyboard.
Actions Taken: I filed a warranty claim with ComputerLand, where I purchased the keyboard. Although I unfortunately did not retain the paper warranty card and receipt, they acknowledged that the product is still within the warranty period and accepted the keyboard for examination. However, after several days, they informed me that they found the keyboard to be functioning properly and refused to replace it or issue a refund.
Additional Information: I have noticed numerous posts here on official Razer forums from other users experiencing identical spacebar issues with this particular model, which suggests this may be a known defect rather than an isolated incident.
I am reaching out to you because I expected a $300 premium keyboard from Razer to deliver quality and reliability for years to come. While I wouldn't hesitate to replace a $40 budget keyboard, this is a significant investment, and I believe the issue warrants attention under warranty.
Could you please advise me on the next steps? Is there a possibility of direct warranty service through Razer, or can you provide guidance on how to proceed with this matter?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to your response.
