Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro USB port A not working

Hi everyone, I just bought a Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro and now I ran out of usb ports on my laptop (I use it as a work/gaming station). I need exactly 1 more port for the headphones and I tried using the USB type A port from the keyboard and it doesn’t work. I tried with headphones, another Razer mouse and a webcam and nothing works. Can someone please tell me if there’s a setting somewhere to enable this or my keyboard is not working fine? Thank you

In order of the USB-A port to work you would need to connect a USB-C cable from your pc/laptop into the usb-c port labelled with “USB”. then the USB-A port will be able to be used from the back of your keyboard.

Owner of Blackwiddow V4 PRO since the 19th of February, 2026. Today, the 6th of May, my USB-A port is not working anymore. What was connected to that port? It's simple; I own a Razer DeathAdder V4 PRO gaming mouse, and the dongle has been connected to the USB-A port since the end of February. First I thought that the dongle was not working anymore, so I changed the port to the laptop, and the dongle worked straightaway. Then I changed the cable to the USB-A port keyboard, and I realised that the port was burnt out after two and a half months. Not sure if I'm taken back to the warranty for that port only since the type-C port for the power supply is working perfectly. It's not a big deal; I'm just short with a USB-A port for now. I'm afraid of sending it back to the warranty. It's going to stay there for a long time until it is repaired, and I really need it.
