Razer Blackwidow X Chroma numpad 7 key not functioning

This is the second Blackwidow I've owned. The reason I got a second one is because my numpad 7 key stopped working and here it is again, not working. I don't know how to troubleshoot this but I'm more than confident it is not a hardware error. Is there something in the software that has caused this? How can I fix it?

    The fastest way to check if this is HW issue or software - connect it to other PC without Synapse installed. If it's still not working - this may be a faulty mechanical switch. It's fairly easy and cheap to replace but requires some soldering skills.
