Razer Blackwidow (Yellow Switches) Alt key unresponsive and flashing.

So I was minding my own business attending online school when my alt-tab shortcut didn't work, and I spilled something on it an hour ago but could find a clip to take the keycaps off. later I quickly found a bulldog clip and cleaned everything inside it. only the windows and the left alt key were affected. but the alt key has a red light above it and I would want to know what that means. If this was already talked about on another forum page can you link it to me? Thanks!
