Th laptop was working fine yesterday. Bought back in 2017 and it is currently out of warranty.



1)I was browsing and suddenly browser froze and it switched off. When I turn it on just now it comes up with the Razer logo (no keyboard lights) and then the screen goes black (backlight on). I tried entering recovery mode (press F9) but it doesnt do that. I've tried several times to hold down power button and hard restart but the same thing happens each time.

2)Every other time a message under the white razer startup logo appears "Preparing automatic repair"... I've left it on for several minutes but screen remains black (backlight on).

3)Tried hard reset and still same

4)Tried USB booting. The USb drive shows up in the BIOS, when I set it to boot from there first it still does the same thing - Razer logo, windows circle of dots then goes to black. The USB is being detected as it has a flashing light that comes on, suggesting it is in use.



Any one has any more suggestions I can try? I am leaning towards hardware failure here but not able pinpoint if it is SSD or motherboard.
