Razer Blade 14 (2021) Overheating when plugged in

I am having an issue with my laptop overheating and shutting down, but only when plugged in. CPU temps go from low 60’s to over 90 within a few minutes.  This happens even while at idle. It’s not overclocked and running in balanced mode. GPU temps are fine.

This doesn’t happen when it is running on battery, the temps drop right back down to 50/60s when I remove the power cable.

Is there any ideas on why it being plugged in could cause this issue?
