Razer Blade 14 2022 motherboard dead

Unfortunately, I seem to have the same problem with my Razer Blade as many others -> the motherboard is defective and I would have to pay EUR 1500 for the repair. I am incredibly disappointed with Razer and will certainly not buy a Razer product again in my life and will not recommend anyone to buy a product from this manufacturer. This motherboard defect is obviously a design or material defect. It's an impudence and a rip-off that I as a customer should now pay for it. It almost seems to be Razer's business model to collect twice. Having to pay the high price to purchase the device and then pay again shortly after the warranty expires for a massively overpriced repair. I feel like I'm being held hostage. I'm now at the mercy of Razer.

Exact Same happened to me!  2 months out of warranty!  Extremely disapointed

I have been a gamer since the early 1980s. I chose and put my trust in Razer because they were 'For Gamers By Gamers'. I have never been so terribly let down by a manufacturer. To have a product fail so badly and so completely shortly after the warranty had expired to require the motherboard to be replaced and cost almost two thirds of the original £2.5K purchase price for repair is unacceptable. I felt at the time of purchase that if I spent a bit more on what I considered to be a quality product, that it would be value for money. I could not have been more wrong.

They can return the laptop to me, or not, I really don't care. It's as much use to me as a table placemat.

I shall continue to use my previous Asus gaming laptop which has served me faithfully for several years now. It may no longer run the latest games, but at least it is reliable.

Same for me, I posted about it yesterday, and have had zero response from Razer.  It is a known issue with their motherboards in the 14 blades from 2022 and 2023. Razer will not acknowledge any fault and will charge you $1800+ to replace a known faulty motherboard.

i will never do business with razer again.
