Every time I close the lid on my Razer Blade 14, the computer restarts and goes to the login screen.
Let’s say I’m working and need to take my dog for a walk. I close the lid, go out for 15 minutes, come back, and the monitor is on with the login screen. When I log in, the computer has restarted and everything loads anew.
I’ve followed all the tips online with different hibernation options, changing what happens when I close the lid, etc. I also updated the Firmware today, but nothing has helped.
It’s a bit of a ridiculous problem considering the laptop is like $3800. Closing the lid should work.
I read something about a problem with the Kernel, that it doesn’t get enough power and shuts down the computer. Can’t remember exactly what it was, but I did an advanced troubleshooting where I checked logs of what the computer did when I closed it, and it said something about a Kernel error (kernel 22?). Not sure…
Does anyone know how I can fix it?
The computer works flawlessly otherwise. Super performance.
