I have a one week old Razer Blade 14 (RTX 3070TI, Ryzen 9) that's plugged into a 4K monitor, and it's freezing in almost every zoom meeting I've joined. During the call, I'll get slow downs; then the screen will freeze, but I can still hear the audio (and folks can still here me). Then the monitor with go black, while the screen of the laptop stays frozen. Then sometimes it doesn't unfreeze, but other times after a few minutes the monitor will turn purple for a second, go black, and then the laptop and monitor will come back on with zoom frozen but the laptop working.
My old machine an MSI P65 Creator which was running a 9th gen i7 and an RTX2060 ran the same setup (with an additional monitor) no problem. Now the MSI has 32gb of RAM, vs the Razer Blade which only has 16gb. Is the reduced RAM the problem? The Razer is my primary work laptop, if this really is a persistent issue, I'll need to return it.
