Razer blade 14 Stops charging randomly | Razer Insider

Hello guys

I bought a Blade 14 2021 with the 3070 last year, love it.

However recently I noticed that the computer will disconnects itself from charging randomly.

I have experienced that first in games, because I noticed the fps drops, but it occurs all also outside of gaming. It occurs the most when I'm on Doom eternal, which is weird.

It is temperature indépendant, sometimes it won't charge when the cpu is at 50deg, but will when it is at 90...

I cleaned the fans because I first thought it was overheating.. But no.

However it will charge all the time with USB c (old blade stealth charger)

Anyway, can anyone help me? I would like to know how to know if it's hardware or software issue. Reseting the pc didn't help and the 230W charger is always on when it disconnects. I have 19.20V on my charger.

Thanks a lot

Were you able to replicate the charging issue by connecting the unit to another power source? Also, please check the steps from this article and see if it helps. Feel free to submit a case to our Support Team or send me a PM, and I'd be glad to assist. I'll be locking this thread now.
