Razer Blade 14 - system extremely slow with choppy/stuttering sound

I've got a Blade 14 which I've been using for the past 12 months, it's been running mostly fine during that time barring a few hiccups with severe frame rate drops which were caused by GPU driver issues. However from a week back I started experiencing some bizarre slowdown that came out of nowhere, I am struggling to find the cause of this since 1) I haven't installed or uninstalled anything major 2) I haven't pushed the laptop performance wise at all 3) It hasn't left home so it hasn't been exposed to the elements. The sequence of events has been - Around a week back the battery display on the toolbar started to show battery not found whenever the laptop was disconnected from the power cable. This didn't affect performance or utility since I mostly use this laptop plugged in, and has subsequently fixed itself. - Now for the past few days the laptop has suddenly become extremely slow on bootup, with a very noticeable lag upon any keystroke or action. A secondary effect is that any playback of sound is muffled with a lot of static sounds in the background. On a few occasions, the PC has fixed itself within about half of hour of startup and gone back to operating as usual. So I'm really pretty puzzled by this, any suggestions would be very welcome.

      I have the same issue on Razer Blade 14 (2021) RTX 3080 using Windows 11. Happens to me on every boot up, after about 3-5mins it seems to go away but it’s unusable during this time. Reports of many people having the similar issue on reddit.

      Most likely caused by this known issue with the Ryzen fTPM:

      Still no BIOS update from Razer (v1.06 June 2021) . Really disappointing considering it was a $5000 AUD laptop. Don’t think I will buy a Razer laptop again.

        Dear All,

        I have a razer Blade 13 with i7 1167g 16GB Ram, the system is almost useless - a simple mouse click takes about 3 mins. The CPU and RAM usage is very low unsure what could be causing this issue. Did anyone fix the slowness issues.

          Hey I have the same problem on razer notebook 13, did you fix it? It’s running insanely slow (unable to do load a page under 10 seconds) and when I play audio it’s slowed and extremely distorted.

          Last time it happened it fixed itself overnight.

          This started right after turning the computer after a low battery shut down.

          Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to fix it - started on its own - tried pretty much everything that can be done with software. Have not had any help with my query and also no patches or reports from Razer.

          Hi, mine fixed itself the next day. I drained the battery by leaving it on and let it shut off by itself. Waited a couple hours and charged it. I didn’t turn it on right away, instead I let it charge a little before turning it on. And it fixed itself.
