I'm trying to establish "2 cable" setup at work which comprises of.
1. AC power cable (to charge my Razer Blade 14 Laptop)
2. USB-C Hub, to connect 2nd display (HDMI) mouse + keyboard (2x USB-A)
What I'm noticing is that if I don't have AC power connected to my laptop, therefore running off battery, the USB-C hub works perfect and all my devices are working.
When the AC power is connect however, charging the laptop, the USB-C hub will freeze periodically, causing stuttering in both my keyboard+mouse and display.
If anything I feel like it should be the opposite, but the laptop charging seems to interfere with the USB-C in some way.
Does anyone have insight as to what could be happening and what I could try to fix? I've already updated all my firmware and drivers, no luck.
This is the hub I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Adapter-Reader-MacBook-Chromebook/dp/B07H4VQ4BZ/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=5-in-1+anker+usb+c&qid=1596137125&sr=8-4
Thanks
