Hi, I recently bought a second-hand razer blade 15 (RZ09-0328), and sometimes the battery lasts 4+ hours while sometimes doesn't make it to 2 hours.

After some research, I noticed that the dgpu (RTX 2060) randomly turns on without opening any game on intensive tasks (just opening the start menu turns it on), and I'm guessing that's what's eating my battery.

I'm using HWiNFO64 to monitor the dgpu power consumption (even without HWiNFO64 opening windows says that less than 2 hours of battery life is remaining when 100% charged.

Also, I closed all background apps, but still same issue.

I wonder if there is a way to completely turn off the RTX 2060 when on battery (I never game on battery anyway)

I also suggest you check what applications were enabled to run during start-up and update the GPU drivers for further isolation.
