RAZER BLADE 15, 2020, base model 2070, 4K OLED | Razer Insider

Hi,

I bought a razer blade 15, a couple of months ago. There are plenty of awesome things about this model. The screen is just awesome, 4K OLED on the go is just amazing. The power it can deliver is exactly the same.

But my main purpose was to buy a laptop for my education, as i'm studying informatics in Belgium. My friend and I bought a razer at the same time. I would like to give a quick comparison where I make clear that the Base model really is a NO GO for any student.

The be more specific:

My laptop: Razer Blade 15 Base Model - OLED 4K 60Hz - GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q - Black

Friends laptop: Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model - Full HD 300Hz - GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q - Black

Main problem: fan noises...:

Even when just using Microsoft Word, the fans are spinning on levels that are equal to max usage on the advanced model. Im not kidding, it is making me furious the noise. The teacher even asked me to turn the noise of... So im really forced to use my old laptop. And I just bought a 2.599 EUR laptop! And yes, I tried like every single thung that is available on the web, to find a solution.

Second problem: battery:

Even when fully charged, on 20% screen brightness, battery saver on and only using firefox, I'm getting a mac of 2 hours of battery... Not usable in like 50% of the placed on school. Yes, I know that a 4K OLED panel uses a lot of energy, but on 20% brightness 2 hours? The advanced model gets around 7 hours battery life.

Those two problems are making it practically impossible to use the laptop for what it was bought for, school.

So I really would like to switch my laptop to same as my friend has, because that laptop really rocks, instead of the base model. Yes, im willing to pay the extra 100-200 EUR, because my laptop really is useless at this moment for me.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Greets,
