Razer Blade 15 (2020) - Secure Boot re-enables after shutdown and BIOS date resets

Hello,

I have a Razer Blade 15 Base Model (Early 2020, RZ09-0328) running BIOS version 1.04.

I am experiencing a Secure Boot issue.

After a complete shutdown and power on, Secure Boot automatically re-enables itself and I get the following error:

"Secure Boot Violation - Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup."

If I enter BIOS, disable Secure Boot, save changes, and restart, Windows boots normally.

However, after a full shutdown, the issue returns again.

I also noticed that the BIOS date resets to 01/01/2020, and Secure Boot becomes enabled again.

Restarting Windows usually works fine, but the problem comes back after the laptop is powered off and turned on again.

Has anyone experienced this issue before?
Could this be related to the RTC/CMOS battery, BIOS settings not being retained, or a BIOS firmware issue?

Thank you.

Hey there, @bitLimeGreenammo987

I understand that your Razer Blade 15 Base (Early 2020) is repeatedly encountering a “Secure Boot Violation – Invalid signature detected” error after every full shutdown, where Secure Boot automatically re-enables itself, preventing the system from booting unless it is disabled again.

Please try the troubleshooting steps on this link to help resolve the issue. If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, please send me a private message along with your device's serial number so I can check its details in our system and assist you further. Thank you!

Also, I noticed that you've posted about the same issue in a different thread. Just a friendly reminder to try and keep the same issue to one thread to prevent any confusion and speed up the resolution process. Thanks for understanding!
