Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2018) Webcam Camera error 0xA00F4244

Not sure if it should be posted here. but i tried finding drivers for the Razer Blade 15
I followed some threads online to uninstall the camera drivers, reset camera, turned on camera, check device manager.

I turned on the Camera App
I reset the Camera App
In Device manager, there are No Imaging Devices or any indication of a Camera or Webcam (see attached images)
scanning for hardware changes reveals nothing too.
Please advice

My thoughts on this (Note Im not bashing Razer but I do need to criticize some points since it looks like they abandoned the entire issue altiogether)
So first of all I'm not sure for the internals of Razer but by the volume of the complaints of the 2018 model they should be aware of the issue at this point and just recommended the factory reset (although I understand that in basic troubleshooting you do need to isolate the issue and separate different problem altogether) and offered RMA as to lower the exchange of emails but just the sheer forums and post of the particular model should be obvious enough that they have a protocol exclusive to the unit.

As for the staff that I've talked to, they're all friendly and give swift and sharp replies so if you have any other issues go on ahead and talked to them with the latest reply I got at least ~1-1.5 days so no problem with the people just with their protocol towards the unit itself.

Moving on Im pretty sure that majority of the people looking into this already checked a lot of forums, videos and maybe asked tech-savvy friends to help with this issue and even by a lot of research a lot of people probably didn't find solution so Razer should have had an idea of the scope of the issue in some point since its all revolving on a specific model (I could be wrong so if so feel free to correct me)

Thanks for posting your feedback and overall experience here. And yes, the Support Team should exhaust all the basic steps and ask questions to isolate the issue before forwarding it to our high ups or the next level of support. Also, if the team diagnosed it as a hardware issue, the unit should be sent to our Service Center since we can't provide steps on how to dismantle or open any Razer laptop. Razer only authorizes our service centers to do it.

Hi yeah I understand the process and again yeah Im not mad at the support team as Im familiar that everyone in the technical support position has a certain protocol to follow. Im just wondering why although the sheer volume of the same problem was already posted in various forums and just insider alone contains a lot of threads why has there been no resolution or an explanation presented by Razer? is it a batch defect? an error in BIOS? why did suddenly all the cams & microphone got affected?

PS. I'm not sure if this is really a hardware issue as there is a "unknown driver" thats present in all the blade 2018 encountering the issue

Hey Bigyeti0628! I understand where you are coming from. I'm not here to invalidate what you've experienced with the Support team. Indeed, the team could have done better. However, this is not a leeway to go around our house rules. Let's keep our threads/posts civil and constructive. Please send me your email address or case number via PM.

Hello NobNob1018. I'll ensure to send your feedback to our Support Team. Sorry if I can't confirm or answer your questions. Razer address issue by sending out firmware patch via Raze Synapse since there's a description that indicates what particular concern does the update fix.
