Razer Blade 15” Advanced (2019) | RZ09-0301x USB Type C charging Supported?

Hello All! I currently have the Blade 15" Advanced model RZ09-0301, and recently I have bought the Razer USB C 130W GAN Charger for it to charger USB type C. But when I plugged it in it did not charge the laptop but made a weird sound on the actual charger itself. Do I need to enable something on my laptop to get USB type C privileges or what do I do. I am very confused. This laptop does have a USB type c port so surely it should support USB type C Charging.
