Hello, I’m having an intermittent Wi-Fi problem with my Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2020).
The laptop periodically loses its internet connection while my other devices on the same network remain connected. Usually, turning Wi-Fi off and back on immediately restores the connection. Recently, the Intel Wi-Fi adapter stopped working completely and Device Manager showed Code 10: “This device cannot start.” The adapter sometimes starts working again, but the problem returns.
The affected adapter is:
● Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz
● Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06F0&SUBSYS_00748086
● Driver: Intel 21.60.0.5
● Driver date: 11/11/2019
I have already tried reinstalling the Wi-Fi driver, but Windows continues to report that the best driver is already installed. Device Manager correctly detects the AX201, but it intermittently fails with Code 10.
Could you please advise whether this is a known issue with the 2020 Blade 15 Advanced and whether there is a recommended BIOS/firmware or newer Razer/Intel driver for this model? I would also like to know whether the AX201 hardware itself may need to be reseated or replaced.
