Razer Blade 15 Base (2019) hdd upgrade

Aye, guys. 

I just bought a Blade 15 Base (2019) second hand, which is my first proper laptop and which only comes with 256gb ssd. 

As I'm really low on budget, I'm only planning to add an hdd it is missing. 

I know it's 2.5 sata III but how high can it go? Is it standard 7mm high slot or would it fit 17mm high seagate barracuda for example? 

Besides that, is there anything specific I should consider choosing a drive? well.. except obvious ones, like brand quality, rpm for example. Maybe some of them are too loud, not reliable, idk

I’d just put some SATA SSD there, because HDDs are not “profitable”, unless you need some great amount of disk space.

SSDs are cheap right now and still the price is decreasing: I’d recommend disks from Crucial or Goodram (if you want to go cheaper).

I need about 1tb internal. Seems reasonable to consider sata ssds as well.
