Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this issue.

 

I have been having this issue where i plugged in my charger to charge, everything just hangs and freezes. 

I have to hard reboot the laptop without the charger plugged in or else it will not boot up.

 

I tried : Reinstalling the GPU driver, I have updated my Win 11 to the latest, GPU driver is now the latest.

Also, I have tried draining out the battery, and can only charge while its off. It charges fully, but just not while powered up and in use, which is a major inconvenience when gaming.

Power adapter is also working fine, no flickering from the LED.

    Hello, 

    I am currently having the same issue, I’ve tried numerous troubleshooting techniques and still no luck trying to save my laptop. The issue started accruing recently when I noticed while gaming only after plugging in my power cable for optimal performance, It will be a consistent 2-5min timer before my laptop freezes, sometimes it’s evens instant.

     

    Ive tried reinstalling my GPU drivers, installing any possible outdated drivers as well as possibly seeing if a hard reset would solve the issue still no progress.

     

    Have you made any ​@Mashpotatoes90 or ​@epicoracle since your last posts?

    Same here too installed latest nvidia driver on 04/march 2025 works fine but someone when plugging in the powercable it freezes the screen and nothing works. I thought it was the images installed from the factory but im doubting its the case. When using VMware workstation it seems to create the issue for sure. I have battery optimization on so it wont charge more than 80% maybe its a bug inside that feature? Hope that someone knows to solve it.
