Razer Blade 15: BIOS does not recognize new SSD

Hi!

I have just bought the Razer Blade 15 (RZ09-03287N22).
I want to upgrade the existing Samsung disk to a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB SSD (M.2).
But: the BIOS (v. 1.02) does not recognize the new drive: In BIOS it says: "No NVME Device Found"
I am being told by the store that the laptop should support this replacement SSD.
See attached pictures.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Best regards,
Ivan

There should be an open M.2 slot right below where the default SSD is. Do you get the same results if you use that for the new storage drive? In any case, please PM me the serial number of your RB15. Let's continue this there.

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
I have tried putting the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB SSD in the second slot, but still no success: BIOS does not recognize it.
Since then I have also tried to put the SSD in a USB enclosure (external drive). Windows then tells me that there is probably a fatal hardware error. So I will try to replace the SSD with a new one from the store.
BR,
Ivan

Thanks for updating the thread. Do let me know if you get the same results with the replacement SSD. Like always, stay safe and stay healthy!
