Razer Blade 15 broken video card? | Razer Insider

So, I just submitted a ticket with support, but while it crunched through the system I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on an easy fix.

I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced from 2021 with the RTX 3080. It has worked fine since I got it last December, and I use it as my primary machine.

For about a week I've been getting sporadic system freezes requiring a hard restart. Sometimes it freezes on whatever I'm doing, sometimes it'll drop into a BSOD and freeze at 0%. Each BSOD seems to give me a different error, although most of them reference nvlddmkm.sys and seem video or power related. At first a hard restart or two would restore functionality, but recently it will restart into stuttering, flickering, and inevitably another freeze. I was playing a 3D game on it shortly before problems started happening, so I'm thinking that the increased system usage shorted or burned something out.

Windows update is current, and I don't see anything new that would have started causing this. I've reinstalled the latest Nvidia driver with no change, and rolled back to an older driver also with no change. I uninstalled the driver and then disabled the card in device manager, and now the system runs without any issues on the integrated intel card. If I want to crash the system all I need to do is re-enable the RTX and it'll crash within a few minutes.

Given the progressive worsening, the lack of change on drivers, and the immediate change when disabled, it seems to me like my video card is fried. Is there some low hanging fruit here that I'm missing? Any advice from the community on this one?
This is highly likely a hardware problem so there's nothing much that I do. Nevertheless, please PM me your case number so I can check its status and keep it forward.
