Hi, so everything about the Razer Blade 15 (RTX 2070) has been going great within one year with it no problems whatsoever. However I brought in a new dog from a family member who is unable to shelter her. She has biting tendencies and has accidentally bitten a good chuck of the Razer Blade charger, the cable where the it connects with the Razer Blade. Not completely ripped off but from where she bit I can see the wires (silver). I mostly play Destiny 2 and for some reason the game has been dropping from 90 frames to 30 frames unexpectedly and going back to 90 frames. I have downloaded all up to date drivers and checked in the nvidia control panel to restore setting to see if it resolves the problem, it did not. I have my suspicion that the charger is to blame. This has been going on some other games as well such as Battlefield 3, where it almost never lags from frames, and wanted to see if any fellow gamers could have an opinion on the matter which I presented. Thank you for whomever should reply.
There's a lot of factors for frame drops. But in your case, it could be that the device isn't receiving enough power, which causes these frame drops. Anyways, I can submit a ticket request for a spare power brick if it's available in your region.
